Capítulo 2: Persona.

In ancient Greek theatre the actors wore masks depicting expressions of happiness or grief. The actors’ voice, with their individual nuances and vibrations, could be heard from behind the rigid coverings. The “sounding through” of the actors’ own voice gave a sense of the individual behind the mask’s firm outline.
The word persona means literally “sounding through”. In a society which calls for set roles to be projected to the outside world, the word persona has also come to mean that sense of self which we choose to project. (...)

Me alegro, aún dudo si debería traducirlas... La última cita, la del espejo, me parece muy sutil y a la vez muy sugerente. ¡Que tengáis una buena última semana!
